Let me tell you some of what I did today. I installed fedora server

  1. Download fedora server iso. Make sure the iso hash is valid (think of a hash as a digital signature).
  2. Download fedora media writer.
  3. Use the media writer to create a usb fedora server stick.

Now this usb stick has a working operating system on it. I then spent the next many hours moving files around, so I can deploy apps on the new server. This is further documented in [[install of fedora 2025-01]] in finer detail. Today reminded me, I do not find computer IT tasks fun.
