How I use AI

This page was inspired by Derek Sivers in joining Demola's ai manifesto.

I use perplexity as a search engine, you can think of it as replacing google half the time.
I use claude/gemini/chatGPT to lookup words, help with translations and help me get 'unstuck' by giving external viewpoint, much like I would ask a coworker sitting across the desk for a their viewpoint to get out of my head.
I have used LLMs to create code repositories and scripts I use daily. This website was built with claude code and antigravity (the posts are written by me)
I use claude for feedback on my writing, as I don't get a lot of feedback. (I will make a post on how I achieve this soon).

Why I don't Use AI to Write For Me

I have found a new love for writing recently. I try to use AI to help develop my writing ability instead of erode what little skill I have.

While it is nice to have LLMs to help with thought and phrasing a passage, I take pride in what I can come up with given only a pen and paper.

As of July 07, 2026, everything on this site was written and read by me before publishing. I might put a whole post into an LLM for feedback, grammar and spelling corrections.
